Dr Stratos Neonakis was born and raised in Heraklion, Crete. He graduated from the Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2009 and specialized in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the General Hospital of Rethymnon and the University General Hospital of Heraklion.
Dr Neonakis subspecialised in Fetal Medicine under the supervision of the world- renowned Professor Kypros Nicolaides at the world's largest referral center for Fetal Medicine, King's College Hospital, London.
During his training, he gained valuable experience in the monitoring and management of high-risk pregnancies and was certified in the whole spectrum of prenatal screening ultrasound scans (1st trimester screening for aneuploides - nuchal translucency, second trimester anatomy scan, fetal growth scan), fetal echocardiography and intrauterine invasive procedures (amniocentesis, chorionic villus sampling, amnioreduction).
